Delivery & Returns


DELIVERY

Please note that every order you place with Good Dog Activewear is custom produced, so it will take a few days to prepare and get it on its way to you. If your order is intended as a gift please allow plenty of time, since we cannot guarantee a delivery date.

U.S.: Shipping is primarily handled by USPS and UPS. Every order to a U.S. address will have a tracking number so you can follow its progress.

Canada: Please note that all genuine Good Dog products are shipped from the United States, so duties and taxes may apply on delivery (Duty and Taxes Calculator). We cannot take responsibility for any Canadian duties or taxes that may be imposed on your order.  In the event that duties and taxes are imposed, you may need to claim your order at your local customs or postal offices.

“Self-Clearing” duties and/or taxes: To avoid paying brokerage fees to the courier service, you may “self-Clear” your following these steps:
        • Refuse delivery and advise the courier that you will pay duties and/or taxes directly to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
        • Write down the unique shipment identification/tracking number.  The shipment will be returned to the courier’s warehouse for a limited period of time.
        • Visit a local CBSA office that offers accounting services to the public. Click here for locations.
        • You will need the shipment identification/tracking number, the commercial invoice (receipt), and personal identification when you visit the CBSA.
        • You will be given an official receipt indicating that you have paid duties and/or taxes paid to the CBSA.
        • A copy of this receipt must be presented to the courier, either in person or by fax, at which time receipt or delivery of the shipment may be arranged.

    Unclaimed Items / Incorrect Addresses: It is your responsibility to provide us with a correct address. As we cannot control what happens in your area, it is your responsibility to claim your package from your local customs or post office if it is being held or deemed undeliverable.

    If your package is returned to us as unclaimed by your local customs or post office, or due to providing us with an incorrect address, it will be your responsibility to cover the cost to reship the order once you have reconfirmed your address. So it is important that you ensure you provide us with correct address and be aware that shipments Canada often need to be claimed from your local customs or post office.

    RETURNS

    Since our orders are all custom made for you, returns are handled on a case by case basis. Returns will only be considered for exchanges for a similar item or a new size. We strongly recommend that you consult the sizing charts for every item before finalizing your order.

    Requests for product exchange must be made within one week of delivery, and items must be sent back for exchange within 48 hours of approval. To start a return, you must contact us at customercare@gooddogactivewear.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll instruct you on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that you will be responsible for returning the item and for the shipping costs of the replacement item.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if it is approved or not. If approved, the exchange will be fulfilled as soon as possible.
